I took over my mother's care when it was clear, her forgetfulness and confusion was clearly a form of dementia. As sundowners progressed, where an individual gets more confused from late afternoon on, my mother would get very distressed and agitated. She would go from playing cards and coloring to asking about her parents and where was her mother. It was so hard to watch, knowing she was really anxious.

One day, I had enough, I had heard that hemp CBD extract could be helpful with anxiety, as well as other soothing and helpful benefits. I had nothing to lose. I made sure what I was purchasing was quality, local hemp CBD, pure and organic. In other words, I didn't go to the local gas station or video store. I got home and mom was already into her sundowners. The repetitions and asking about her parents was very wearing on the family. That day I got home and gave my mother a few drops on her tonque. You can also put it in water or other drink. My husband and I were absolutely astonished, she calmed down and went back to playing cards calmly within 20 minutes. This  worked better than any other health supplements.

Now, if you're like us, we didn't believe it, there was no way those drops worked that fast. So evening came the next day and sure enough gave her some more drops.... and again she calmed down, stopped asking about her mother, and found something to keep herself busy.

I can't say that this result is common, so quickly, but it was clear that hemp extract alternative health products were going to be an evening ritual from now on. And until she passed, she took hemp drops, slept better through the night (she used to get up and raid the kitchen), she also stopped complaining about her arthritic shoulder at night I used to have to give ibuprofen and menthol rub for her to sleep. 

This isn't a story, we're real people struggling to care for an aging parent with dibilitating dementia and our lives were made so much easier.
